Introduction
Completely unusual and innovative entertainment for the elderly in residential nursing homes. Very reasonable fees. I am based in Manchester, UK and willing to travel.
The entertainment is based around Hawaiian Dance with involves extensive hand movements and gestures. The brilliant thing about this is that it allows me to really interact and get involved with the residents. They can use their hands really extensively, and I bring out the fun, quirky side in them. I would use props such as grass skirts, garlands and silly hats.
I would intersperse this with "sing a long" music and often staff get involved with grass skirts and all the other props so it turns out to be like a Tropical Party!
