Introduction
James A. Weinberg has a Bachelor's degree in Church Music & a Master's degree in Music Education from Belmont University, and currently serves as choirmaster-organist at Holy Cross Anglican Church in Franklin. He offers piano instruction and vocal coaching at four locations in Williamson County, TN. James has over 20 years experience teaching in church and school settings and teaches all ages, styles and levels.
As a teacher of piano, organ and voice, I specialize in beginning through intermediate level, and accept students of all ages. I also teach most styles, including jazz & pop. Theory and improvisation are text (method) based, since I believe it's crucial to have an intellectual comprehension of the principals of harmony, melody and form. Vocal coaching focuses on fun repertoire, interpretation, vocal production and confidence-building.
