Mum and I think this is the best chinese in the area. Great food. Remember ot ask about the free prawn crackers !

we were served raw food when we notified staff we were told to get out and that we liars. They refused to give us back our money so dispite being 8 months pregnant we were unable to have a meal that night.

Ignore the one star review - they've plastered that all over the internet - I'd like to know what their agenda is. Mai and her family are great and run a really decent Hong Kong Chinese take-away/delivery. We've used them for the last 14 years and they've never let us down and it says a lot when the chinese restaurants of Penge come and go and Jade Garden endures.

I have been a customer of this take away for many years and | have never had a bad meal, I have always enjoyed a polite and friendly service, I have never had an experience like the person who complained below. An excellent take away that you should try.

May's food is good, consistent and well-liked locally. The fact she's been going 14 years now says it all. We've used her delivery the whole 14 years she's been open - very few rstaurants in this area (if any) make fresh bean curd so I have doubts about the vailidity of the very negative review here

Our family ordered several dishes, one of which was a bean curd dish. However, the taste of the bean curd dish had gone off, so we called to inform the staff about this issue. The staff replied us with extremely rude and impolite attitude. Firstly, she denied the fact we informed her. Secondly, she refused to investigate customers' valid complaint. Thirdly, she accused us lying (well, why would we only made complain about one of the many dishes we ordered?!) Finally, she hanged up her phone loudly in the middle of our conversation. Personally, I do not feel such customer service is acceptable and that a good take away should would NOT sell such food to their customers.
