Introduction

Besides my experience in private practice I have worked in several organizations involved with helping people dealing with emotional and psychological issues. When I meet a new client my first task is to really be with them and listen to what they have to say. Just as a doctor's bedside manner probably contributes as much to the cure as the medication they prescribe, the ability to really connect with a client and give them the experience of really been seen and heard is a crucial part of my work.
