Experience Joshua Rotbart (LLM, MBA) was previously the general manager of Hong Kong based Malca-Amit Precious Metals (MAPM), the bullion procurement and bespoke services subsidiary of the logistics group, Malca-Amit Global. Joshua’s origins can be traced back to the famous Goldberg merchant family, who resided in Poland for centuries. He was the first member of his family to be born in Israel. Joshua studied law (LLB) and marketing (MBA) at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem’s special program for outstanding students and has since followed a career that has made good use of his studies. In 2004, Joshua accepted his first expat position as vice president of marketing and operations for a US-based retail company. The company went on to become a success story and an industry leader in its segment on the west coast. Joshua joined the Malca-Amit Group in 2010 and was appointed head of business development for the group’s flagship vault in the Singapore Freeport. In 2013, Joshua was asked to move to Malca-Amit Global’s head office in Hong Kong to set up and manage the new Malca-Amit Precious Metals venture. Joshua is a world renowned expert in providing solutions for clients wishing to ship, store and purchase physical precious metals. He works closely with family offices, independent financial advisors and high net worth individuals to discreetly and sensitively provide tailored solutions for their needs. Joshua has advised hundreds of clients on their physical precious metals portfolios and has procured and arranged for the transportation and storage of bullion worth over US$ 1 billion. J.
