Introduction
Island Peak ( Imja Tse ) is the most popular climbing peak in the Everest region. Located in the Imja Khola valley like Island, in the southern part of Lhotse , this 6189 m. is popularly known as trekking peak of the region. Island Peak climbing does not require any sophisticated climbing experience. You will be trained for about couple of hours in the base to use safety and climbing gears. Any prior climbing experience can attempt to climb this peak but prior knowledge and exercise along with good physical stamina helps you a lot to summit the peak. The program begins with the flight to Lukla and trek to Phakdging, Namche, Tengboche, Dingboche, Chukung and Island Peak Base Camp and summit.
