The interesting function of the products is the ability to work almost anywhere and on anything, above and below the water line. After application it forms a covalent bond ( becomes part of the surface) and in simple terms stabs and electrocutes the pathogens (bugs) at a molecular level. While doing this there is nothing "given" ie the surface does not ablate as in usual underwater coatings, thus nothing is put into the environment. This process will go on working as long as the substrate stays in a sound condition for upwards of 12 months. We do recommend regular inspections above water and of course the regular cleaning off of normal surface dirt. A new coating is recommended underwater after 12 months. Invisakill is also available as a hand sanitiser / Protectant. With correct application it has been shown to be superior to all current ones in use. The most incredible feature of this product is that it is 100% safe. It carries various EPA registrations and approvals and can be flown in aircraft with no Haz Chem conditions.
