Yesterday, the university announced a bunch of programs for its pharmacy department.
The press conference was hosted at the university premise in presence of the institute’s professors and other staff, students and eminent personalities from both educational and industrial sector in addition to reporters. The head of the pharmacy department, who was the chief speaker at the event, announced: “We have a number of programs to be completed in upcoming months. First of all, we have taken a decision to expand our pharmacy department. More students are now keen to take up pharmacy as their career and it necessitates an expansion to accommodate them. It is also important to bring more advanced equipments – the latest kinds – as only hands-on training will make the students perfect in their profession.
Funds have already been allotted for both purposes and we’re hopeful of putting it to best use in immediate futureâ€. More than a rewarding career, pharmacy is considered a noble profession. The job of a pharmacist has a direct connection to human life. True it is that a medical practitioner is who decides the course of treatment for his patient but a pharmacist is responsible for dispensing medicines. To carry out his work with high proficiency, it is a must for the pharmacists to be armed with every different aspect of medicine. “We are focused on extending the facilities of our excellent education in pharmacy to more students willing to enroll in our prestigious instituteâ€, insisted the department supreme.
A little more than one year ago, the university opened their pharmacy laboratories in Bareilly. It was described as the “Centre of Excellenceâ€. National Education Award has conferred ‘Outstanding B-School and Engineering’ award upon this private university in 2014. That prestigious award has now burdened them with added responsibility of being the Top Pharmacy College in UP. Expansion means more regular and guest lecturers will have to be appointed and the university is well aware of the fact, which was echoed in the speaker’s voice. “You cannot deny that some of the best professors are with us.
However, we would like to bring more professors having glorious association with the most elite institutes and that will surely add to our excellenceâ€. The head also addressed the students in an assuring tone in regards to revised course fee. “You don’t need to worry about fees as it will always be within your easy reachâ€.
