Before beginning to download and install Office 2016 on your PC, First uninstall any previous version of version Office installed from your PC. If you have a previous version of Office like office 2007, Ms Office 2010 or Ms Office 2013 installed on your system first uninstall them. To do this Open Control panel > Programs and Features-> Select Ms Office and Select Uninstall Wait flew moment to complete uninstall process.
Install Office 2016 ISO and IMG file
If you don’t want to install using office Deployment tool Then simply Download img file from given link. Wait until complete the download process, After complete right click and select mount. Open this PC you will see the img file mounted as a DVD drive. open this and run the setup.exe.
Installing Office Professional Plus 2016 and Project Professinal 2016 from MSDN ISO's - Nightmare
Did anyone ever succeed in installing MSDN Office 2016 Professional Plus ISOs on an upgraded Windows 10?
I had Office 2013, Project 2013 and Vision 2013 installed on an 8.1. I upgraded to Windows 10. Everything was fine.
I decided to upgrade to Office 2016. I removed the above 3 programs.
I downloaded the MSDN ISOs. I turned off the anti-virus, connected my laptop by an Ethernet cable (instead of wireless) and plugged the laptop into a wall socket. I also turned off the printing spool.
Installing Office 2016 failed. It kept on getting stuck at about 26% for about 2 hours. I read about some trick of rebooting, going into Control Panel/Program and Features, and right-clicking on the Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2016 entry and selecting "change". This appeared to work (although I get from time to time some generic white rectangle popup stating that the operating system is not configured properly to run some program (doesn't state which).
OK.
So I decide to install Project 2016. I download the Project 2016 professional ISO from MSDN (I double-checked myself that I downloaded the correct ISO). I tried to install it. It got stuck at about 50%. I did the same trick - rebooted, and went into the Control Panel Programs&Featues. But instead of finding Project there - I found Visio! Selecting "change" successfully installed Visio - but no sign of Project.
So I thought maybe someone got confused at Microsoft. So I downloaded the Visio ISO, assuming it would conversely install Project (and an SHA1 check shows it's not the same ISO as the Project ISO) - but it simply reinstalled Visio!
What is going on here?????
