Introduction
Inspire Conservation carries out various projects both small and large across England and Wales. Founded by ICON accredited conservator Michael Sheppard, Inspire Conservation uses only the best stone masons and crafts people who are experienced in their individual areas of expertise.
Depending on your project requirements we can use a variety of traditional building methods and materials as well as newer technology.
Here is a list of just some of the projects we undertake on a regular basis:
- statue and monument repair and cleaning
- all stone masonry jobs
- war memorial cleaning and repair
- stone cleaning (using recognised steam cleaning systems such as DOFF and TORC)
- sympathetic building repair to period and listed buildings, as well as other structures
- lime repointing
- lichen removal
- poultice cleaning to remove salts and staining from stone
