Introduction
We found that replacing existing lighting such as halogen and compact fluorescent lamps (CFL) with new LED lighting was one of the quickest and cheapest ways to do this. In some cases the upfront cost to replace the lighting was paid back in less than one year by the savings we made on our bills. When combined with the long lifespan and reduced maintenance costs, we were unsure why more people were not switching over to LED lighting.
