Introduction
The year was 1998, Space Shuttle Discovery blasts off with 77-year-old John Glenn on board, Dale Earnhardt wins the Daytona 500 in his 20th try, Denver Broncos become the first AFC team in 14 years to win the Super Bowl. But it also marked another significant event, the creation of Houston Cool Pools. After 10 years of frustration working for a large pool builder, we were unhappy with the level of knowledge, customer satisfaction and service provided by that company and throughout the industry in general. After the sale was made there was little to no communication with the customer, and the level of service was not what was promised.
