Introduction
Our 2011 opened hotel along the Khan River on the UNESCO peninsula of Luang Prabang, Lao PDR, offers 17 rooms housed in 5 two story buildings. We are located a mere 10 minutes walk from the town center and night market in the quiet village of Ban Khili.
We offer great little rooms ideal for active visitors exploring the beauties that make this town and its surroundings worth visiting.
Waterfalls, bike- and hike outings, elephant rides, Mekong river cruises, off road motorbike tours, old colonial buildings, monasteries and Temples etc. etc.
Great restaurants, cooking classes and wine bars, souvenir shops, art and local handicrafts including silk weaving, wood crafts and silver & bamboo products.
We offer great showers, relaxing large beds, air-con and ceiling fan, mini- bar and safe and quiet nights.
We can book you all the tours available with good secure Western style tour operators, mini-van transfers, motorbike rentals and reserve a table in the local restaurants.
Villa Deux Rivieres or the 2 river villa will be a pleasant home away from home for you.
We operate with two seasons, Green Season from April 1st till October 15th and high season from October 16th till end of March. Rates quoted are the lowest rates during our Green Season. Traveling to Luang Prabang can be done by air, boat or bus. The preferred way, though more expensive is by air from Bangkok, Chiang Mai, HaNoi or the capitol Vientiane. The boat trip down the mighty Mekong is also a once in a lifetime experience.
