Set in its own private (fenced) rainforest garden for the ultimate in peace and privacy, a few short steps from our 12 metre solar heated salt-water swimming pool and with spectacular views in every direction, Hillcrest Cottage feels a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, but enjoys the convenience of being close to a range of activities and beauty spots.
Catering for one couple only, the real wood fire, top of the range luxury double spa bath and split system air-conditioning make Hillcrest Cottage ideal for a mid-winter romantic interlude and a perfect honeymoon destination at any time of the year.
With flat screen TV, DVD and stereo system/CD player, as well as a fully equipped kitchen with gas stove and microwave oven, fridge, toaster and all kitchen equipment, gas bbq - along with sun lounges and al fresco dining suite on your private verandah, you'll enjoy all the comforts of a home away from home, whilst taking in the spectacular views from Mt Warning to the rainforests of Springbrook and the Cougal Mountains.
The bedroom is completely separate from the lounge, as is the large ensuite bathroom with top of the range luxury double spa bath and separate shower, heater, hairdryer, robes, candles and a selection of toiletries.
Standard breakfast provisions, including some of our famous home-made bread and free range eggs, are included in the tariff, or you can choose our full brunch basket for a small extra charge.
Hillcrest is centrally located to 5 World Heritage Listed National Parks, horse-riding, golf, joy-flights, scenic village drives, arts & crafts markets, galleries, boat excursions, Harley motor-bike tours, pristine beaches, untouched rainforest and more. Your hosts have extensive local knowledge, a wide range of tourist information on-site and will gladly help you plan the best things to see and do during your stay in our beautiful Tweed Valley.
