Introduction
12 cozy log-cabin style rooms each with gas fireplace, ceiling fan kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster mugs, glasses etc, and private bathroom. The room rate includes complimentary hot breakfast and Happy Hour every day, WI-fi, large screen TV with DVD player and library of over 500 movies, bottled water and cookies daily. Rooms offer a choice of Queen, King or 2 x XL Twin beds, and 2 rooms with a Queen and bunk bed for small families. Room rates vary from $135 to $295 per night, weekends and Holidays are more expensive. Taxes are added to the rate.
Ideal location on Ski Run Blvd, with easy access to the Heavenly Ski resort using free shuttle bus service, close to the lake, great restaurants, shopping and gambling. Set back amongst the tall pines, we have 4 large outdoor patios, one with a fire pit, and a large open lawn area to play lawn games (Frisbee golf, horse shoes, bean bag toss etc). Some of our rooms are dog-friendly, but please call us to discuss.

Johan & Linda du Plooy
Owner/Operators
Your Innkeepers are Johan & Linda du Plooy. Living in Lake Tahoe has been our dream for many years and finally became a reality in June 2011. Heavenly Valley Lodge is our home now and we can honestly say we are living in Paradise! Excellent customer service is very important to both of us. We love meeting new people and look forward to making your stay with us a unique and memorable experience.
Johan is an ex-South-African who, after many years in corporate South Africa, and a stint as an entrepreneur, decided to sail around the world, and after spending a few years in the Caribbean as a Charter Skipper on luxury Catamarans, ended up in San Diego, where he met and married Linda in 2002.
Linda, a native of San Diego spent time enjoying Lake Tahoe with friends and family. She had a long and rewarding career in luxury retail. Prior to making her dream of living in Lake Tahoe a reality she was a Vice President at Barneys New York and worked in the corporate office in New York City.
We have both reached the perfect time in our lives to spend the rest of our days in a more relaxed and healthy atmosphere, and where better than Lake Tahoe!
Johan and Linda have both traveled extensively, work hard but also enjoy having fun! We have a wonderful big family and many great friends! We see this as a great opportunity to spend more time with the ones we love and to make many new friendships along the way.
