Harrison Barnes PLC is a law firm based in Malibu. Founded by Andrew Harrison Barnes, we offer services in real estate litigation, real estate transactions, criminal law, divorce and family law, bankruptcy, intellectual property, tax and litigation. At our law firm, we do not advise our clients to take unreasonable positions in negotiations. We honor the goals of both sides. While we recognize the need to give and take in negotiations, we focus on solutions, not problems.
We are skilled in all sorts of real estate transactions-especially "trophy property" residential real estate transactions. We have been attorneys in numerous Malibu real estate transactions from $1.5-million to those in excess of $15-million. In divorce cases, we are skilled in asset evaluation, investigation, undercover work and insuring that "no stone goes unturned" when handling large, complex divorce cases.
Harrison Barnes PLC also finances major litigation for contingency-based clients. Because we are "deep pocket" litigators, we never have to settle cases if we feel going to trial will get us the best possible result for our clients. Harrison is also prolific writer who has published hundreds of articles and written and published numerous guides for attorneys.

Harrison graduated with honors from the University of Chicago, and he received his law degree from the University of Virginia Law School. At the University of Virginia Law School, Harrison was an editor of the Virginia Law Review and the Managing Editor of the Journal of Law and Politics. Following law school, Harrison clerked for one year for a federal district judge and then practiced with the law firm Quinn Emanuel Urquhart Oliver & Sullivan. In addition, Harrison was a law professor.
