The idea for Happy Endings In- Home Euthanasia came to me when I was a veterinary student and I had to put my beloved dog, Hades, to rest. He developed Osteosarcoma, an incurable form of cancer. After a long life of heroism, obedience, and unconditional love, he was euthanized on a cold treatment table because there was no other option available to me at the time.
