Hakalau, Hawai'i is well known among locals as being one of the most beautiful locations on the Big Island. When we vacationed ourselves in Hawai'i, we had seen and experienced many incredibly scenic locations
all over the island. We were especially drawn to this area along the Hamakua Coast, with it's lush tropical jungles and endless waterfalls.
Hakalau affords the convenience of being close to the State's second largest city, Hilo. Yet, once you head over Hilo's last bridge over the Wailuku River, you begin to realize you have come unto an area that is unlike any other, a place with history as well as beauty and every turn.
