Guitar Tuition

I am a Registered Guitar Tutor (RGT) and peripatetic guitar teacher living and working in the Torbay area. I teach acoustic, electric and bass guitar to grade 8 and above. I have some spaces for beginners, intermediate or advanced students seeking to improve their level of playing. I teach the RGT/London College of Music grades and I am also an examiner for RGT/LCM which earn UCAS points from grade 6. I have a Grade 8 distinction and a Licentiate Guitar Teacher's Diploma from the London College of Music - LLCM(TD). I have been a classroom teacher for a few years with a PGCE and I've been teaching privately for nearly ten years. I teach at home in my studio and I possess a CRB and have Public Liability Insurance.

I have a passion for creativity and improvisation as well as songwriting. I have gained a Finalist position in the UK Songwriting Contest (Brit Trust) for one of my instrumentals and several Semi-Finalists positions for a number of my songs.

One to One lessons rates are: £15 per 30 minutes.
