I’ve always loved photography, looking at beautiful and interesting images and trying to figure out how it was created. What lighting, equipment and special effects did the photographer use? Then about four years ago, after receiving a photography book from my wife for Christmas, I started to find the answers. What started as a casual hobby, a way I suspect for my wife to get me out from under her feet, quickly turned into my passion. I discovered I have a real talent and flair for taking beautiful pictures.
When I was commissioned to cover my first wedding I felt privileged to be asked to provide a lasting memento for possibly the biggest event in a couple’s life; flattered that they liked my pictures and honored that they trusted me to capture their memories. I also couldn’t believe someone was willing to pay me for doing what I love. My art work started to sell all over the world too!
Photography remains my passion. I feel so lucky that what started as a hobby, the thing you do to provide you with some light relief from the daily strains of life, has become my daily life. The way I provide for my family and that people want me to share in their special life events and to capture their most precious moments.
