Introduction
Goodfellows Café is located at 64 High Street in Shepton Mallet. It can be accessed via Haskins Furniture Store as well as the High Street entrance. The café is the second venture for Chef Adam Fellows and his French wife Martine, which they opened in 2010. It is open all day, every day of the week.
The spacious open-plan café sells the patisseries and cakes that have made Goodfellows in Wells and our Sadler Street Cafe a destination for afternoon tea and high-quality lunches. Come and relax on the comfy sofas, meet up with friends for lunch or treat yourself to coffee and cake after shopping.
Call in for breakfast with homemade breads, pastries, scrambled egg and smoked salmon and healthy options. At lunchtime there are sandwiches made on our speciality breads and classics such as haddock fishcake with tartar sauce, tuna Nicoise and Caesar salad. Daily changing hot dishes use local fish and meat. For afternoon tea choose from a selection of cakes, scones, toasted tea cakes, flapjacks and cookies. On Sundays we serve brunch and a traditional roast.
