Ghorepani Poonhill Trek

Annapurna Region and Ghorepani Trek is the most popular trek region in Nepal. Ghorepani situated at an altitude of 2850 m. from sea level is a beautiful small town surrounded by Rhododendron jungle and Poonhill 3210m. from sea level is one of the most impressive viewpoint for stunning views of Himalayan Peaks closely. In spring season ( March - April ), Ghorepani decorates herself in red, white, blue, pink and many more colours. The trek is moderate in grade and good for those with short time, wants to explore the Himalayas and afraid to reach higher altitudes. The trek starts with drive to Pokhara, a beautiful lake city in the west of Kathmandu. Trek then follows various villages with Gurung and Magar settlements. Steep uphill and downhill in some parts make the trek adventurous as well.
