Sam left Marin County and became a Public Defender in San Francisco. While there, he represented clients facing misdemeanor charges. He represented roughly 100 clients throughout jury trials, negotiations, probation violations, and any pre-trial motions.

Since starting his own practice he has continued to dedicate his practice almost exclusively to criminal defense and representing individuals throughout the Bay Area who are charged with a wide range of crimes. Through years of courtroom experience and handling a diversity of cases, he prides himself in possessing in-depth knowledge of criminal law and the ability to provide clients with vigorous representation and honest, sensible advice.
