Luxury accommodation located on the South West Coast Path near Dartmouth. Frogwell is a 600 year old cottage situated in the village of STRETE between two award winning beaches. Our Self Catering Studio has its own private entrance. Our awards include Quality in Tourism Gold award and 4 star gold rating and Trip Advisor's 5 star Certificate of Excellence.
Frogwell is situated approximately 4 miles from the hustle and bustle of Dartmouth, Devon and is one of the oldest houses in Strete dating back to the 16th century. It is within walking distance of the famous award winning Blackpool Sands beach . We are ideally placed to explore many of the fabulous local attractions such as:
• Award winning Slapton Sands Only 2 miles away situated between Strete and Torcross.
•Many historic and nostalgic attractions from the 2nd world war.
The SELF CATERING Studio is very well suited to couples seeking some privacy. It is newly furnished with a comfortable sitting area, a fully fitted out kitchen and an en-suite shower room
Walk the famous Devon coastal footpath accessible a few strides away from our garden gate or for those with a head for heights descend down a steep path to a local cove accessed only by those in the know, ensuring a secluded getaway from the crowds.
So you don't have to get the car out and only a few minutes up the road from Frogwell B&B is the Laughing Monk restaurant. However, if you don't mind a short drive to the next village why not try the Start Bay Inn. Either way all serve excellent food. Please review our Restaurant Guide page for more detailed information.
We have lived in this area of Devon both in Dartmouth and Strete for over 20 years and have lots of experience of the best places to visit in Devon, Dartmouth and surrounding area.
