Q Link Wireless is another Lifeline Assistance program that is supported and offered by the federal Universal Service Fund. The benifits are limited to qualifying customers residing in selected areas (areas where Q Link wireless service is available), the Lifeline program benifits are non-transferable. So, only one wireless or wireline Lifeline discounted service is available per household. Q Link Wireless is a federal Lifeline Assistance program and the Lifeline assistance program is a government assistance program. The Q Link Wireless offer provides eligible low income households a free monthly wireless service (data, unlimited texting, and free monthly minutes) and a free smartphone.
