We started this firm because we were not satisfied with the current landscape of the financial advisory business. We feel our industry is broken and in many instances unfairly takes advantage of people. The focus has always been on what is best for Wall Street. Instead we set out to shift the focus to YOU, where it belongs, by bringing real value to our clients and putting them in the best position possible to achieve financial success. We represent and work exclusively for our clients. You hire us directly. We are Fee-Only Financial Planners so we work exclusively for you and not for a brokerage or insurance company. We don't sell products and we're not commissioned salespeople who "represent" insurance or brokerage companies. This helps remove potential conflicts of interest and allows our clients to receive objective advice and guidance. We are passionate about what we do and the people that we serve. Since we spend a good amount of time in the office, we want it to be comfortable and have a relaxed atmosphere for both our clients and us. Unlike the typical Wall St. advisor, we value substance over flash - we dress casually, no cuff links or over the top offices designed to try and impress clients. Instead, we focus on bringing real value to their lives. We bring this value by running a solid company, reinvesting in technology, eliminating costly business practices or fluff (i.e. expensive bound reports, sporting event tickets, unproductive busy work) and focusing on planning techniques that bring results to our clients. To this end, we are able to offer first class planning and investment management at a lean reasonable price. We refuse to work for Wall Street. Instead, we work for individuals and families helping them navigate the often times confusing and complicated maze of personal finance. We help them make good financial decisions so they can achieve true financial success. We believe in the power of simplicity when it comes to financial products. We love to educate people about their personal finances so they are armed to make informed decisions whether they work with us or not.
