FlexEnable has been launched to build on the world's best and industrially proven flexible electronics technology platform. This platform combines stable high performance transistors with passive elements to create truly flexible and cost effective electronics over large and small surfaces.

With over a decade of experience, IP development and technology awards, FlexEnable works together with customers to drive innovation across flexible sensors, smart systems and video-rate displays. FlexEnable's proven technology platform enables new mobile products, wearables, surface displays and imaging systems.

Industry firsts and awards

FlexEnable has a strong foundation of accumulated patents, IP and in-depth know-how. We have proven capabilities in translating this into industrial production capabilities. Our process knowledge and intellectual property is already in use in the industrialised production of flexible electrophoretic displays (EPD) and the same organic thin film transistor (OTFT) technology is now capable of driving AMOLED, LCD and many other display and sensor materials.

We have developed and demonstrated breakthroughs in displays including the world's first fully flexible EPD, fully flexible, organic AMOLEDs and have now shown the ability to develop a fully plastic, conformal LCD. We have also created breakthroughs with flexible image, biometric and gas sensors. Moreover, programmable array logic circuits, which can be programmed for different functions by digital printing, have been created in flexible plastic. FlexEnable's technology has been recognised by many awards, patents and referenced by partners and customers.

We continue to break new ground in what is possible with plastic flexible circuits, enabling ultra-thin, ultra-lightweight, shatterproof electronic displays. We are also at the forefront of developing revolutionary sensor arrays suitable for medical devices, contactless control of devices and gesture recognition, all of which are converging to enable compelling new mobile devices and wearables. Our technology is already being applied to sensing surfaces and structural electronics to bring an extra dimension to the Internet of Things (IoT).
