Introduction
This hands-on interactive one day course teaches workers how to deal with the most common occupational first-aid emergencies. Course includes adult CPR, choking procedures as well as emergency scene management, dealing with shock, spinal injuries, minor wound management, major bleeding, internal bleeding, poisons and minor burns. Students will also be oriented on the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Participants spend the majority of the course doing hands on first-aid, and participating in first-aid scenarios.
