Fireplace Beams

Fireplace Beams offer a bespoke service whereby selected timbers are cut to specification and finished to order in a range of waxes or oils. Fireplace beams are available in both reclaimed and air-dried oak for either a traditional or contemporary look.

An oak mantel can be supported on corbels and an oak beam can sit within the wall or fixed using a number of different systems.

Our traditional Oak beams range are from beautifully grained solid European Oak, available in all grades and sizes. Our product range is sourced from more than one European country to provide high quality to our customers. Our reclaimed timber beams are sympathetically stripped and sanded to bring out their original quality. We give each beam unique and special attention to bring out its character and natural finish. We do not sand the beams back to new wood, as this would lose the natural aging that has taken place.

HETAS Regulations:

There are strict regulations regarding the installation of oak beams around wood burning stoves from both HETAS and stove manufacturers.

All stove installers, such as ours, should be HETAS regulated and trained in the installation of combustible materials like oak fireplace beams and mantels with regard to distances, etc.
