Introduction
Finch & Finch, Inc. Funeral & Cremation Service has been serving families from all walks of life since 1905. They were recognized with the Pursuit of Excellence Award in 2020 from the NFDA (National Funeral Directors Association). This award is the essence of what they represent: excellence in each service they arrange. They have a grief therapy dog on staff named Maggie the Sheepadoodle, and she is ready to charm guests, both old and young, helping them through this sensitive time. The funeral planning staff will guide you through all decisions that will be pertinent now and in the future. You only get one chance to permanently memorialize your loved one, and they aim to make sure it is done right.
Finch & Finch, Inc. Funeral & Cremation Service offers funeral and cremation services, including pet services. They know that a family pet can mean the world to the family, so they offer pet cremations, pet funerals, pet urns, and pet caskets to plan the perfect service for your furry friend. In addition, you will find pre-planning funeral services for your loved ones or yourself, where you can make decisions about green burial options, veteran services, ship-out services, urns, caskets, life celebrations, and more. Use the pre-planning tool online to password-protect your plans for end-of-life services.
As you consider your funeral and cremation options, know that you can keep it simple with immediate burials or direct cremations. Or you can arrange a full service funeral with a visitation before the service and a graveside ceremony at the burial site. A cremation with a memorial ceremony is also a popular option so that your family and friends can gather to say their final goodbyes.

Funeral & Cremation Service is involved in the Altavista, Lynch Station, Hurt, Rustburg, Smith Mountain Lake (Exclude Franklin county), Gretna, Evington, Gladys, Lynchburg, and Forest communities.
