Fibregrate is setting new standards in the production of GRP grating and many other GRP products – from GRP panels and trench sections, to structural shapes including I-beams and tubing. The low fabrication cost combined with ease of installation gives GRP products a similar initial cost as steel, but offers a longer life cycle and greatly reduced levels of maintenance.
Our GRP grating is less than half the weight of similar steel grating but offers many other benefits – including high resistance to chemical and corrosion, is completely non-conductive, and provides a non-slip surface that will reduce slips and falls significantly. Cleverly designed with a concave meniscus or gritted surface, all our GRP grating provides an exceptionally aggressive non-slip surface.
Fibregrate originated fibreglass moulded grating and we’ve gone on to develop a wide range of GRP products suitable for many different applications. Our GRP panels offer greater corrosion resistance than even stainless steel and are much easier to work with. The lightweight GRP panels are available from 12mm thickness and require less manpower to lift and fit, can be machined and cut easily and come in a variety of colours too.
