Introduction
Fastlane Sailing and Kayaking was founded in 1979 by my parents, Ron and
Debbie Lane. They had a passion for catamaran sailing, and they wanted to share that passion
with others, and make a living doing it. After starting the shop, they started a family. I
grew up sailing, fishing, surfing, and kayaking all around Dana Landing in Mission Bay. 40
years later, the store is still in the same spot, my parents are still there daily, now with
the help of me and my brother and sister.
