How it works

Flexible membership

Explore Learning has tuition centres across the UK. Children become members and attend once or twice a week for sessions that last approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Every centre is open 7 days a week, and members do not have to book in advance, meaning that Explore membership can fit in easily with your family’s routine.

Fantastic tutors supported by superb teaching materials

We only recruit the best staff to work in our centres, then we give them superb training. Our maximum ratio is just six children to one tutor, and our tutors use the best available teaching materials. All of our tools map closely to the school curriculum and many adapt to the ability of the child so that he or she is challenged at exactly the right level.


Explore Learning tutors use the best available teaching materials to help children fulfil their potential in maths, reading, writing and spelling.

Explore tutors will select appropriate resources for your child in both maths and English and will ensure that they cover a combination of courses, enabling them to reach their potential in all areas.

We will also review the programme of work with you on a regular basis as your child's skills and confidence develop.

The process of getting to know your child starts from the very first time we meet you at your free trial session. This is an opportunity for us to discuss your child's requirements in depth, and for you to see the tuition centre in action.
