Introduction
The name Emei comes from a mountainous region in China known for wet weather conditions. The name also gives note to our manufacturing which is proudly done in China. The technology and fabrics that factories in China have access to allows us to produce great quality products at an affordable price, something we would struggle to do in North America. Our partner facilities have decades of experience with both fabrics and techniques that we are able to collaborate on to bring you products we are proud of.
The Brand Emei was born on the wet west coast of British Columbia. Created by a group of friends who share a passion for enjoying the outdoors even on the wettest days. Frustrated by the expensive prices of top quality gear, we knew we needed to find a middle ground. We wanted to tackle an everyday essential for us, which led to us launching the Urban and Rural line of bags. Simple, stylish and durable these bags have become essential to many of our activities. Every time we see an Emei product while out and about it brings a smile to our faces. We are motivated by the adventures our customers have experienced and look forward to hearing about yours.
