Having spent most of my working life in the catering industry and seeing such varied standards throughout the tourism sector, I have always dreamt of creating an establishment that would be known for its comfort, good food and wine and for several years both Jane and I have been looking for a place like Dunkery Beacon Country House where we can provide the level of luxury and charm that is sometimes hard to find. Together with Jane’s experience and knowledge in the wine industry (she previously worked for Berry Bros. & Rudd for 15 years), we felt that our combined skills would be put to best use here at Dunkery Beacon Country House. Our aim is to create an atmosphere that is welcoming, relaxing and refreshing and with our en suite bedrooms we provide a superior level of comfort with fantastic views across the moor.
