Introduction
I received my degree in orthopedic surgery in Montreal in 1993 and continued my education with a fellowship at the University of Toronto in 1994 and 1995 in shoulder and elbow surgery, arthroscopy and sports medicine. During that time, I was affiliated with the medical team of the NBA's Toronto Raptors. I completed my training with specialized courses in the United States and Europe. From 1996 to 2005, I was an assistant professor in the Department of Surgery at Université de Montréal.
