Guests enjoy the comfort and space in a new Toyota Land Cruiser with air conditioning to every row of seats. Detour Adventures specialises in small group tours of up to 7 Guests, or if you prefer your own company, you can request a personal private tour. Unlike larger tour operators who need to operate to a strict format for large numbers, Detour Adventures can tailor tours to suit the needs of individuals.
On the full day tours, Guests enjoy a great lunch sitting by a quiet river or high on a mountain top. Guests can even bring their own lunch if preferred. Detour Adventures is a great day out for individuals, couples, and a group of friends or the whole family.
One popular option is our tag-along tours which we limit to 4 vehicles. We find this provides a more personal experience for everyone and is less harmful to the environment.
