Students begin the process of guitar instruction by reading music in standard musical notation. Beginning with the definition and purpose of the musical staff, learning the notes on the guitar in open position and orienting students to the nomenclature (language used in an art or science) of rhythms and chords, students learn the basic alphabet of music all from an experienced music teacher.David Joel concentrates on the fundamentals of technique, music literacy, tunes, and dexterity, which allows students to develop their own creative style and musical voice. David believes it is important to teach students in a thorough and methodical way, making steady progress through a clear approach.Contact guitarist David Joel of David Joel Guitar School today for engaging and personal guitar lessons.
