Present-moment awareness -- mindfulness, are generally the missing pieces in the field of general psychology. I am interested in working with individuals dealing with addictions, compulsions, irrational thinking and/or general life problems. I strive to engage the human spirit of each individual in a joint effort to identify and manage or overcome problems. Each person has a vast background and different experiences. Each treatment plan must be tailored to the individual. I offer insight, energy, structure, and support. It is exciting and rewarding to me to be part of your journey toward health and happiness.

I enjoy developing individualized treatment plans for patients, and then working together to adapt the plan as the treatment unfolds. I provide a safe and structured environment where openness, honesty, and a willingness to take risks pays off. My approach is flexible and inclusive of any problem or diversity.

A sense of humor and a willingness to uncover the dark corners are essential. I have myself taken a long and winding path toward health. I request from my patients a willingness to put forth sincere efforts toward recovery. Initial appointments offered within 24 hours of contact in most cases.
