Darrin Knowles is an Executive General Adjuster with over 32 years of experience in the property insurance field.

After serving honorably in the US Navy, Darrin began his insurance career in 1987 with Allstate Insurance as an auto claim representative and moved into the property insurance field after a series of bad northeast storms in the early 1990’s. Prior corporate positions include serving as a Quality Insurance Director for Royal & SunAlliance, as a Senior National Property Reinspector for Zurich North America and has been a freelance General Adjuster for over 25 years. Darrin maintains adjuster licenses in numerous states and has an associate in claims management and general insurance designations. He is also a certified umpire and appraiser.

Having been in the industry for so long, Darrin has seen both the good and bad of adjusting, so a portion of his work life is dedicated to providing mentoring and training to individuals seeking entry into an adjusting career at no cost.

While not busy with his career and spending time with his grandchildren and extended family, Darrin enjoys scuba diving, fishing, boating, road cycling and swimming.
