Introduction
William Davis and his son Harold formed Davis Salvage & Auto parts back in 1969. William was always “chasing the rainbow†and at one time he owned a garage, an auto repair shop, and a collision repair facility in downtown Corbin. Business was so good that William thought about building a larger, nicer garage. Yet, even though he provided some of the best automotive repair and maintenance services in the area, people were always asking why he didn’t sell auto parts.
