The formation of CREEK CRUISES was not just to add one more spoke to the tourism hub of Dubai. It was established in 1995 with the true vision of offering the tourists a real taste of Arabia. The company was named CREEK CRUISES to signify its meaning literally.

Dubai creek is the heart of Dubai. The creek was the root of richness during the pre-oil period. In fact the creek has shaped the destiny of Dubai and in turn Dubai has reshaped the creek to its present modern stage.

Cruising along the creek witnessing the landmarks – the wind towers, Sheikh Saeed House, the Heritage Village, the Diving Village, Shindagha tunnel, Creek Golf & Yacht Club and the most modern skyscrapers and the magnificent sights – gives a glimpse of ancient Dubai’s growth from a small settlement town of merchants to its present stage of a most modern cosmopolitan city. And it’s a novel experience to cruise along the creek on Traditional dhow.

Despite its manifold nationalities, multi–racial societies, various languages and developments, the country still embodies the old and the new alike, offering a remarkable contrast.

JAMEELA


Every year tourists and F.I.Ts find that Dubai has much more to offer other than shopping. As against the global average increase in inbound tours to Dubai has increased. Government of Dubai and the Department of Tourism & Commerce Marketing {DTCM} started attempts to promote Dubai as a CRUISE DESTINATION.

In conjunction with their efforts CREEK CRUISES introduced JAMEELA AL KHOR, the Beauty of the Creek. JAMEELA was introduced during SHOPPING FESTIVAL 1999. The Double Decker dhow has the capacity of 70 guests. It is also equipped with sound system to play low piped background music.

ZOMORRODAH


Our corporate clients and local tourism companies demanded the necessity of another dhow with a open top to enjoy the cruise under the open sky; then we introduced ZOMORRODAH, the Jewel of the creek in 2002. The vessel with a capacity of 100 guest’s. Lower deck is glass covered and Air-conditioned, upper deck is totally open for cocktails, equipped with a sound system to play low piped background music.

All our dhows are well equipped with different kind of safety equipment in case of emergency. And all these things are regularly checked and approved by Govt authorities. We appreciate, if you give us the chance to serve your guest on our traditional dhow. We catered to many group requirements earlier and also the regular F.I.T guest on daily dhow dinner cruise.

MALIKA


The purpose built luxury air-conditioned double-decker traditional dhow, MALIKA AL KHOR, which means the Queen of the Creek was introduced in 1995 and named as a tribute to the Dubai Creek. Malika was the first of its kind, purpose-built with the harmony of ancient tradition and modern amenities.

This vessel with a capacity of 70 guests aboard is insured and fully equipped with modern navigation equipment. There is a sound system to play low piped background music. The upper deck is covered and wide open with seats and central Majlis seating for relaxation of the guests. This vessel was used mainly for Groups & Incentives guests. As the days passed, dhow cruise concept started taking a new shape.
