Development & Investment
Copping Joyce have been pioneers of the city fringe, Islington and Hackney property markets for over one hundred years.

Our development and investment department has helped shape the face of these and other areas within the M25, by being directly involved in many major schemes over the years.

We are market leaders in land development sales and acquisitions and continue to reinforce our reputation for high standards of professional and innovative valuation based on our expert knowledge and experience. We deal in small plots to major development sites.

Recoveries
Copping Joyce act as LPA receivers for many banks and independent selling agents for insolvency practitioners.

We act for many banks, working with their Business Support and Debt Recovery Units. We provide strategic advice on the values and the options of dealing with particular assets ranging from recommending a sale, the banks developing themselves, or finding a joint venture partner. Copping Joyce will then act as LPA Receivers, Building Project Managers and disposal agents.

Expert Witness
Reports and Litigation
Richard Alford MRICS LETAPAWE, Chartered Surveyor, is a Registered Valuer and an accredited Expert Witness. He has a thorough knowledge and experience in the production of expert witness reports to meet the requirements of Courts, Tribunals and Arbitrators and is familiar with the requirements of the Courts and in particular Part 35 of the Civil Procedure Rules, accompanying Practice Direction, the protocol for the instruction of experts to give evidence in Civil Claims and the Practice Direction for Pre- Action Conduct.

In the particular case of Expert Reports for Court proceedings, Richard accepts appointments in the following circumstances:-

+Shadow Expert (instructed by a party to assist behind the scenes)
+Lead Expert
+Jointly Appointed Expert (Part 35) instructed by the parties with permission of the Court to prepare a report and give evidence.
