Introduction
C-BEN's Board of Directors was formed in 2013, and over the next several years, oversaw dozens ofhigher education institutions and public systems' participation in a research-and-development phase ofcreating an evidence-based approach to advancing high quality competency-based education. In 2017,C-BEN became its own NPO and opened membership to a larger group of constituencies dedicated torealizing the full potential of competency-based learning
