Vertically-integrated Manufacturing Facility.
Our Portland, Oregon plant is the last of its type in the US, combining engineering, patternmaking, molding and coring, foundry, heat treating, machining and large scale fabrication and quality assurance facilities. We control the process from beginning to end.
Wide Range of Alloys.
Columbia's proprietary alloys include standard and premium manganese steels, high strength martensitic steels, chromium molybdenum steels, high chromium alloy irons, heat resistant stainless steels and Xtend Process® overlays. We also produce carbon steels.
Inventory and Patterns.
Columbia inventories many popular parts for crushing, grinding, pulverizing, shredding and mining applications, and maintains over 24,000 patterns ready for casting. In addition, our pattern shop of skilled craftsmen create custom patterns to meet the specific needs of customers everyday.
