About Coleman Moonshine Cakes: In 1948, Mama was working in a bake shop in North Carolina. People liked their cakes, but wished they had a little more zest. Mama told the owner that she could add something to the mix, but he declined, saying that the mix will stay as-is. So, Mama started making cakes at home. John, my daddy, said “Put some moonshine in it!” Hence, the moonshine cake was born. Moonshine cakes come in 6 different flavors, all waiting to make your mouth water.
