Originally opened in 1991 in Covent Garden, Christopher's has established itself as one of London's original and best in American cuisine. After being closed for a four-month refurbishment, Christopher's iconic Grade II listed Victorian building located in the heart of theatre land, with soaring high ceilings and grand sweeping staircases, has been reborn in an intimate yet stylish blend of history and contemporary dining, offering a menu of the finest American flavours and ingredients. The refurbished premises are now home not only to Christopher's Dining Room and famed Martini Bar, but also a new Club Room for private events. In the Dining Room, expect a menu that incorporates Stateside staples such as prime cuts of USDA steak, surf'n'turf and Maryland crabcakes alongside more creative dishes such as Missouri-rubbed rack of lamb with Boston beans. Weekend brunch at Christopher's is a speciality, covering everything from light and healthy offerings to classic egg dishes and American-style pancakes. More substantial options come from well-loved signature dishes, such as steak and eggs; and corned beef hash with béarnaise sauce. Located on the ground floor, Christopher's glamourous, Art-Deco Martini Bar is a destination in its own right, boasting an extensive bar list, with classic cocktails given a Christopher's twist, including a playful ‘Earl Grey Mar-Tea-Ni' (combining Earl Grey infused Bombay Sapphire Gin with Matcha tea syrup, fresh lemon juice and orange bitters). Christopher's Martini Bar food menu offers casual dining with a menu which runs from small sharing plates to salads, clubs and Po' boys. For those with a sweet tooth, homemade desserts and decadent sweet Martinis are served in the bar all day until late, making Christopher's Martini Bar the perfect destination throughout the day and night
