Introduction
To better serve you and your family, Children’s Medical Group operates an After-Hours Clinic in our Jackson office 7 days a week, including most holidays except for Easter, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. The After-Hours Clinic is only for established CMG patients seeking same-day sick visits and is by appointment only.
Weekdays
On weekdays, calls for same day after-hours sick appointments are accepted beginning at 4:00 p.m. with the first appointment typically scheduled at 5:30 p.m. The After-Hours Clinic will remain open each weekday until 6:30 p.m. The weekday After-Hours Clinic is staffed by one physician and one nurse.
Weekends
On weekends, calls for same day after-hours sick appointments are accepted beginning at 8:00 a.m. with the first appointment typically scheduled at 9:00 a.m. The After-Hours Clinic will remain open until 5:00 p.m. each Saturday and Sunday. The weekend After-Hours Clinic is typically staffed by two physicians and two nurses in the morning and one physician and one nurse in the afternoon.
