Introduction
The Charleston Hardware Company began in 1999 with antique hardware sales and restoration. Our customers often requested large numbers of matching pieces so we began collecting original antique patterns and in 2003 we began reproducing them utilizing the same techniques from over 100 years ago. We analyzed the metal content of the originals and produce our hardware in matching materials of hand wrought iron and cast brass, bronze, and iron. We have four foundries, a lock maker, a glassmaker, a ceramics maker, and a plater.
