Ceredrotian

Ceredrotian has been set up to promote the four harness racing clubs in Ceredigion - Tanycastell, Treagron, Ceredigion and Lampeter. Harness racing has a long tradition in Ceredigion and we are lucky enough to hold two of the biggest meetings in the UK. Every year we welcome hundreds of racehorses and thousands of spectators from across Britain and Ireland to race in some of the most beautiful locations in Wales. The horses are some of the finest and most eleite equine athletes and you will certainly feel there powere and speed as they fly past you! With a close up view of the half mile race track you won't miss any of the action. Races are held throughout the summer and are a great day out for all the family. Race meetings are free to under 16s, we offer free parking, bar and catering facilities, bookmakers and childrens entertainment. Ceredrotian aims to introduce this exciting equine sport to a whole new audience as well as keeping our seasoned supporters updated on exciting new developments. We also aim to promote harness racing as a true equine sport and to endorse Ceredigion as a popular tourism destination.

1 mile south of Aberystwyth on the A487, SY23 4PY

TREGARON TROTTING CLUB
Friday, Saturday & Sunday 22nd, 23rd & 24th August, 2pm
4 miles north of Tregaron on the B4343, SY25 6EL

LAMPETER HARNESS RACING CLUB
Sunday 31st August, 2pm
4 miles north of Lampeter on the B4343, SA48 8LE
